Đặc điểm kỹ thuật:
– Không loại bỏ vật liệu, không sinh phoi, không phát sinh nhiệt.
– Trục lăn sẽ Di chuyển vật liệu/miết vật liệu, do đó bề mặt sau khi lăn sẽ nhẵn bóng hơn trong cùng phép đo độ nhám.
Ứng dụng:
– Chi tiết yêu cầu độ bóng cao, rất cao (Mirror-like finish)
– Thay thế công đoạn mài khôn
– Sử dụng trên máy tiện, máy phay
Phân loại:
Cách sử dụng Dao lăn bóng Cogsdill:
1 Rotate the adjustment collar assembly +/- as marked on the tool until the workpiece will just slip over the rolls. This will set the tool working diameter to the same as the prepared part diameter.
2 Retract the tool from the part and increase tool working diameter by approximately .0005 to .001 inch (.01 to .02mm) over the prepared part diameter.
3 Run the first part, check for finish and readjust tool diameter as necessary to obtain desired surface finish.
4 The difference between the prefinished and roller burnished sizes represents actual stock displacement. If necessary, modify the prefinished size accordingly.
